*Whim Gift Boutique originally opened as Jake's Summit, a Life is good Genuine Neighborhood Shoppe, in October 2009 in the brand new Summit Fair Shopping Center.  Jake's Summit made the transition to *Whim in the spring and summer of 2011.  Now, in addition to the best selection of Life is good® apparel and gifts in the area, *Whim features a thoughtful selection of unique gifts including Woodwick candles, Thymes bath and body, and children's and baby's gifts.

*Whim Gift Boutique is independently owned by David and Cassie Schmidt of Lee's Summit and is operated by Cassie and our awesome staff of optimists.

Summit Fair Shopping Center is home to Macy's and JC Penney along with many other great shops and restaurants.  Newly opened in 2009, Summit Fair is a great addition to the retail scene in the southeastern metro area.
